Food Heritage in Brno.

From 7th to 9th of April, 2019 was organised in Brno, Czech Republic second internship of working groups within the project „Cultural Heritage of Small Homelands“ (NAWA). Internship was organized by the partner from Czech Republic, University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences Brno, Faculty of Veterinary Hygiene and Ecology, Department of Plant Origin Foodstuffs Hygiene and Ecology. Within the program of internship lectures were dealing with topics of „Bioactive compounds and textural analysis“. Opening session was aimed on presentation of University, Faculty and Department as well as project partner. Practical part of the internship was performed under the supervision of MVDr. Matej Pospiech, PhD. and Ing. Martin Kral, PhD. Other part of the program was aimed on further progress of the project, where the main interest is to find within each partner typical homeland, typical sources of plant and animal origin as well as products made from them and build whole picture according their authenticity.  The subject of interest  was also organization of next internship which will be held at our Department of Plant Genetics and Breeding. https://foodheritage.urk.edu.pl/
