Originality of published manuscripts in JCEA is strictly controlled by “CrossCheck” and “iThenticate” plagiarism systems. For 20 years of existence was journal gradually developed to respected scientific journal, which is indexed in several databases. For couple of years is JCEA indexed in SCOPUS database and since 2017 (from first number) is JCEA indexed in ESCI database (Emerging Sources Citation Index). ESCI is citation index of Web of Science Core Collection database since 2015. Its creation reflected long and complicated selection process to the citation indexes SCI, respectively SSCI. ESCI is citation index aimed for catching of important reviewed scientific journals, which have mainly regional importance.  The journal selection to this citation index is conditional on the rating of Thomson Routers agency, which is one of the most important companies concerned in quality evaluation of scientific journals in every direction of activity. Citation index ESCI captures mainly European scientific journals. Journals integrated to the ESCI citation index are “candidate” journals for qualitatively better indexes like SCIE/SSCI/AHCI (more on http://itlib.cvtisr.sk/buxus/docs/27_esci-novy%20citacny.pdf). Executive authority of JCEA is editorial board, which meets in year intervals always in the country of executive office of journal.
