Seminar on rational utilization of mineral fertilizers was held in Agroinstitute
In congress hall of Agroinstitute Nitra „the 38th seminar on rational utilization of mineral fertilizers“ was held on the 15th of February 2018. The seminar was organized by Duslo Šaľa (joint stock company) in cooperation with Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra. The aim of this traditional event was to inform farmers and researchers-agrochemists about new trends in production and application of mineral fertilizers and possibilities how to utilize them more effectively. Presented contributions delt mainly with sulphur plant nutrition as well as with efficiency of environmentally friendly fertilizers containing inhibitors of nitrification and reducing losses of nitrogen through its escape into both hydrosphere and atmosphere. Present attenders of the seminar (167 in numbers) were also informed about the potential of new fertilizers containing humates. Professional lectures were presented by experts from Duslo Šaľa company, Agrofert concern, Czech University of Agriculture in Prague and Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra. Opening speeches were delivered by Ing. Daniela Rudá from Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic, general director of Duslo Šaľa, Ing. Petr Bláha and dean of Faculty of Agrobiology and Food Resources of SUA in Nitra, doc. Ing. Peter Ondrišík, PhD.
