During 21. to 25. November 2017 three workers (K. Olšovská, M. Živčák and O. Sytar) from Department of Plant Physiology of the SUA Nitra took a part in the monothematic workshop named „Plant Phenotyping Workshop: integrating European plant phenotyping community“, which was organized and supported by international network EMPHASIS as well as European Horizon2020 project named EPPN2020 (European Plant Phenotyping Network 2020), whose is the SUA Nitra a participant. The aim was to receive topical information about the networking the European plant phenotyping platforms, data creation and management in phenotyping research and their integration with genetic and genomic data from plants, as well as needs for agricultural crops phenotyping under climate change and abiotic stress conditions. The participants from SUA Nitra presented there a lecture (M. Živčák) and two posters (K. Olšovská, O. Sytar) with the newest experimental results from crop phenotyping, and informed about the status and readiness for operation of the SUA Nitra phenotyping facility (SPPU) to fulfil aims of the EPPN2020 project and train people concerned on Estónsko this technology.
