BeeCare Project Partners Meet in Romania
BeeCare is an international Erasmus+ KA220-VET project focused on promoting sustainable beekeeping and natural bee nutrition. The project runs from November 2025 to October 2027. More information about its activities can be found at www.beecare.sk and on the BeeCareproject social media profile.
On 21–22 May 2026, representatives of all six partner organisations from Slovakia, Romania, Poland, Bulgaria, and Spain met in Timișoara, Romania. The main objective of the meeting was to coordinate the development of the project's key outputs – a digital guide and a series of instructional videos that will be available in six languages.
The programme also included a visit to a local beekeeper, providing an opportunity to exchange practical experience in beekeeping and natural bee nutrition practices.
The Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra is an expert partner in the project and contributes to the development and scientific review of the digital guide, the preparation of educational materials, and the formulation of recommendations related to bee health and nutrition. This year's meeting was attended on behalf of SUA by Associate Professor Róbert Chlebo and Associate Professor Peter Šedík.
Further project meetings are planned for 2027 in Poland and Bulgaria, where the final project conference will also take place.
