Partners from the Czech University of Agriculture in Prague, Mendel University in Brno and Siedlce University under the leadership of the Slovak University of Agriculture met in Poland for the next of the didactic events from 8th to 11th of July 2024, organised within the ISAGREED: Erasmus+ KA2 Partnerships for Cooperation project No. 2021-1-SK01-KA220-HED-000032068 "Innovation of the structure and content of study programmes in the field of management of animal genetic and food resources using digitisation". This time, the workshop focused on training educators in the inclusion of participants with a lack of opportunities. The speaker Dr. Bartolomej Suchodolski gave a lecture on "Student as a consumer from the perspective of behavioral economics" followed by prof. Agniszska Dybowska spoke on "How to inspire students to participate in civil society during teaching classes?". The didactic seminar was complemented by Dr. Ewa Jówko in the form of a practical workshop "An innovative model of universal design thinking at a university.", which focused on working with students with specific needs (visual, hearing, mobility or various learning disabilities). All speakers were from the Faculty of Social Sciences. The training also included a technical excursion to the Janów Podlaski stud farm with a focus on the protection of animal genetic resources. This is the third oldest stud farm of Arabian horses in Europe after Hungary and our Topoľčianky with a very successful, albeit turbulent, history. The meeting in Siedlce traditionally included a project management meeting, which included a review of the project tasks - the level of elaboration of the topics within the second stage of university studies and a discussion on the form and preparation of self-testing. At the same time, topics related to further progress within the project were discussed during the meeting. In the autumn, a final event will take place in Nitra, where the individual partners will present the results of the project.
