Visit at Technical and Forestry University S. M. Kirov in St. Petersburg

On 6th to 12th September 2019 representatives of Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra visited Technical and Forestry University S. M. Kirov in St. Petersburg, Russian Federation. Historical building of the university is placed in the centre of the arboretum, which is used in practical education of students and is open to the public. Prof. Radovan Kasarda, vice-dean for international relations and practice attended bilateral negotiations about future collaboration in area of protection of genetic diversity and sustainable development. The part of the negotiations were also possibilities of broader collaboration f FAFR and partner university in area of ecology and environment protection. There was eminent interest in closer collaboration of scientists in scientific conferences organized at partner university as well as internships of students and teachers within Erasmus+. Colleagues from partner university prepared interesting program, including memorials and monuments of Russian culture and cuisine. Colleagues from Technical and Forestry University S. M. Kirov in St. Petersburg were invited to visit FAFR SSUA Nitra, which could to be held within the end of the year.
