Doctoral study programme Plant and Tree Physiology prepares professionals capable of responding to the challenges of globalization of agricultural production, diversification of the agricultural industry, changes in land use associated with its priorities in the area of global climate change and biodiversity, water use, energy and natural resources, ecosystems, genomics, food quality, biosafety and biodiversity. The graduate knows and develops scientific methods of study of physiological processes in plants and causality of their changes. Upon detection responses of plants to environmental factors and increase their adaptability to the changing climate, with a focus on breeding and genetic and control technologies in agro and dendrobiology.
